This 18th century renovated Farmhouse in Montreuil Bellay named "Le Vieux Logis" sits in an acre of land with beautiful views of the countryside.
The majority of this Farmhouse's original features have been retained and incorporated with a modern style to create a haven to relax and enjoy this lovely part of Loire.
Our Farmhouse with it's beamed ceilings and exposed "tofu" stone walls, has been furnished to a very high standard with all the comforts in place to create a real "home from home" environment.
Alghough we are right in the heart of the countryside, a rural and peaceful location with views of open fields and country lanes to explore by foot or bicycle, we are only 5 minutes drive from the beautiful historic town of Montreuil-Bellay with it's chateau, river Thouet and a selection of shops including a large supermarket, restaurants & bars.
The farmhouse has been converted to offer two types of accommodation; a fully equipped spacious self contained Gite for 5 guests + a baby and a two bedroom Bed and Breakfast to accommodate 4 people.
We are conveniently located to enjoy the majority of the attractions that this part of the Pays de Loire has to offer, such as chateaux, musuems, parcs, troglodytes, lakes, swimming, amusement parcs, rivers, fishing, canoeing, horse riding, wine tours, cylce paths, zoo, karting & golf. The location, area and the farmhouse make this a perfect holiday spot for families and couples.
Loire is famous for it's wines and wine trails start from our farmhouse, these will allow you to discover our beautiful villages and take in a tour for a little taster of what the vineyards have to offer.
