Le Vieux Logis Gite Details
Ground Floor:-
Shower/utility room- with wc, wash basin, shower, laundry drying rack with pegs, ironing board and cleaning equipment.
Kitchen - fully equipped large kitchen/breakfast room with windows opening up to enjoy the lovely views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Kitchen equipment includes dishwasher, microwave, cooker, two fridges, freezer, washing machine, ground coffee machine and Dolce Gusto Nescafe machine. All cutlery & cooking utensils are supplied including special cutlery for our younger guests.
Lounge/dining room - spacious room with two large sofas, dining area and a wood burning fire set in the "Tofu stone“, the original stone of this area. There is a satellite TV with English & Frennch Channels, a DVD player with a selection of DVD'S, a radio with CD player and a selection of games to suit the whole family.
WIFI is available for guests to use during their stay.
The patio doors in the lounge lead onto a large paved terrace area with barbecue and a two gazebos which provides shaded areas for outside dining. Sun lounger’s and other seating areas are provided for you to relax and enjoy all parts of the garden.
FIRST FLOOR:-
Bedroom 1 - with double bed, wardrobe, alarm clock radio, reading lamps, small vanity unit with seat, hair dryer, shower, basin and WC
Bedroom 2 - with a double bed and single bed, wardrobe, table and chair, bedside cabinets, alarm clock radio, reading lamps, hairdryer, shower, basin, and WC.
The gite is equipped with a cot, high chair and stair gate.
Terrace & Garden:- The farmhouse sits in an acre of secluded grounds with private parking under the car port, there are two garden areas which are both gated.
The area outside of the gite is paved and landscaped and provides plenty of seating in both the sun and shade. In front of the gite is a 5 mtr x 1.2 mtr overground pool which provides a perfect place to cool off during the hot summer months and for children to splash and play around in.
The second garden, “our play area” is well equipped for both children to run around and adults to relax, there is a trampoline, table tennis, swings, swing ball & badminton net along with bats, balls & outside games. This garden is also home to our chickens and vegetable garden which provide fresh produce for us and our guests to enjoy during their stay, this area is very popular with children who love feeding the chickens and collecting their eggs as well as picking fresh vegetables.
A selection of adult bikes are available for guests to use during their stay along with a cycle rack for those that want to xplore the area further.
Smoking is not permitted in the gite but our guests are free to smoke either on the terrace or the gardens.
Sorry but pets are not allowed.
The bedrooms are on the 1st Floor, so our property is not suitable for the personnes handicap.
