Nous n'avons pas vu le temps passer pendant notre semaine à Montreuil Bellay. Merci à Julie et Keith pour leur accueil très sympathique. Le gîte est d'une propreté irréprochable, très bien équipé et très bien situé pour profiter du calme de la campagne et des chateaux aux alentours : Montreuil Bellay, Brézé (notre favori), Saumur, Chinon, Azay le Rideau... Nous avons apprécié la piscine (parfaite pour les petits comme les grands, avec des matelas, crocos, bouées gonflables !), le jardin de jeux, les poules, les vaches et moutons autour (pour le plaisir des enfants), l'environnement et les ballades en vélo disponibles sur place, les mûres à profusion, nos échanges avec Julie et Keith toujours souriants et prêts à donner de bons conseils. Au plaisir d'y retourner un jour.

We spent a week in early June at the gite. We had a great time in the area with plenty to see and do. The gite was very clean, well presented and equipped with everything we needed. The garden was spacious and well kept. The hosts Julie and Keith were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, it was a pleasure to stay in their gite and talk with them. We would recommend the gite and hosts to anyone.

Fantastic communication, and above and beyond hospitality from Julie and Keith. My girls loved the chickens, trampoline, bikes & the pool. I loved the tranquility and pretty, cared for gardens. Lots of help and assistance on where to go and how to get there. Great facilities in the spacious property and a great place to explore the area from. The Bio Park was truly amazing and only 15 mins drive away. The local town is pretty and characterful with its privately owned Chateau. Really can’t recommend enough 😀

la location est très propre, très bien aménagée, une immense cuisine pour cuisinière. Les propriétaires sont discrete et toujoirs la pour un conseil. C'est le calme et c'est un grand bonheur.
Wonderful fortnight in the Loire Valley:- ☆☆☆☆☆ 5/5
We spent a wonderful fortnight at Le Vieux Logis in August / September. The owners, Julie and Keith, lived in the property next door and were wonderful hosts. They got the balance between being helpful when needed whilst not being intrusive just right. The gite was spotlessly clean and just as described. The chickens and the games in the garden were very popular with our son and we liked that it was spacious and relaxing. Montreuil- Bellay is a nice town and we love Saumur which is just a short drive away. We would certainly enjoy visiting again.

Yet again we found this pleasant, welcoming home from home in a part of France we love. The accommodation was very comfortable, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Julie and Keith were very friendly and on hand if required. We couldn't fault the house and if you do have children a lovely safe garden has been made with various garden toys to keep them occupied. As there was just the two of us we enjoyed the covered patio area which overlooks the well maintained garden. Many thanks
